Hebrews

Christ's superiority to the old covenant and call to faith.
"God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,"
— Hebrews 1:1
About the Book of Hebrews
Hebrews was written to Jewish believers tempted to return to Judaism. It presents a powerful argument: Jesus is better — better than angels, Moses, the priests, and the old covenant. The 'Hall of Faith' in chapter 11 celebrates heroes who trusted God without seeing the fulfillment. Hebrews calls us to persevere in faith.
