Isaiah: Summary & Overview

Overview

Isaiah is often called the 'fifth Gospel' because of its stunning prophecies about Jesus — His virgin birth, suffering, death, and coming kingdom. The first half warns Judah of coming judgment; the second half overflows with comfort and hope for restoration. Isaiah paints the most complete picture of the Messiah found anywhere in the Old Testament.
